The coaching framework utilized during the internal coaches’ training is designed to create a professional development structure for consistency and focus and most importantly, get results.
This unique program is tailored towards the needs of your organization and derives its power from weaving together three distinct strands of coach development:
- Learning the methodology of Water The Bamboo® Coaching through a customized multi-day seminar including pre-reading, group discussion, and practical hands-on exercises.
- Participating in a peer coaching process (Bamboo Coaching Circles™)
- Going through the coaching process personally, to gain a full understanding of the methodology and to develop the skills necessary for coaching
Water The Bamboo® Leader as Coach Training involves:
- A minimum of 20 hours (3 days) training in the core competencies of coaching and the Water The Bamboo® approach
- Quarterly follow-up coaching sessions
- Participation in a monthly Leadership Bamboo Coaching Circle™ (peer coaching)
- Follow-up full-day Advanced Coach training.
